The feminist movement (also known as the Womens Movement, Womens Liberation, or Womens Lib) refers to a series of campaigns for reforms on issues such as reproductive rights, domestic violence, maternity leave, equal pay, womens suffrage, sexual harassment, and sexual violence, all of which fall under the label of feminism. The movements priorities vary among nations and communities and range from opposition to female genital mutilation in one country or to the glass ceiling in another. But with all the many changes brought to women over time, have the changes interrupted the way men and women relate? Has the feminist movement thrown a wrench in relationships, causing a shift in gender roles?
